OEM & Private Label · Kids Storage · Tianjin, China
Big enough for a week of children’s laundry, soft enough to sit in a nursery, and square enough to line up two or three against a wall without gaps.
01 — WHY IT SELLS
A nursery basket is bought for a room that is about to be photographed, and used in a room that is about to be messy. The product has to satisfy both, which is a construction question rather than a decoration one.
Dense felt keeps the walls square with nothing inside, so the basket still looks like furniture on a nursery floor instead of collapsing into a fabric puddle.
Cut into the felt and bound at the edge, so a full load can be carried with two hands — or dragged with one — without the rim stretching.
A stitched applique does not fade, crack or peel in the wash the way a transfer print does. It is also the detail that justifies a higher shelf price.
Nothing to knock a knee against at toddler height, and nothing that chips if the basket is tipped over or sat on.
02 — MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION
The body is needled felt — fibre tangled into a mat rather than woven, so there is no warp or weft to fray when the basket is dragged across carpet with a full load.
The top rim is bound and stitched, which is what stops the felt opening up at the edge — the first place a cheap felt basket fails. The handle openings are cut after binding, so the felt edge stays enclosed.
The bear is an applique: a separate felt piece cut, positioned and stitched down, with the leaf motifs applied the same way. It sits slightly proud of the surface, which reads as depth in a photograph.
03 — THE PRODUCT
Hover to lift the frame, click to open the full-resolution file. Three shots cover what a buyer needs to judge: the shape empty, the capacity loaded, and the exact dimensions.
04 — PACKING & OEM
The applique is the variable that makes this product yours. Send an illustration, a nursery theme or a licensed character brief and we will quote the die, the stitch path and the sampling time — the body pattern itself does not change.

06 — WHERE IT GOES
The 30 cm cube is the size that fits a changing table, a playroom corner and a wardrobe shelf without dominating any of them — which is why one SKU covers several listings.
A week of baby clothes fits with room to spare; the soft rim is safe beside a cot.
Blocks, soft toys and dress-up clothes — the print-free applique survives being sat on.
The square footprint lines up in pairs or threes, so a shelf reads as a system rather than clutter.
Towels and bath toys; felt will not scratch a painted wall or a tiled skirting.
New-baby and housewarming sets — the bear motif does the gifting work on its own.
Books and craft supplies, where the open top keeps contents visible and reachable.
07 — QUESTIONS
Yes. The felt is dense enough to hold the wall upright with no board inside. It flexes under hand pressure and recovers, so it will not stay crushed after being squashed into a carton.
Sewn. It is a separate felt piece cut to shape and stitched down, with the leaf motifs applied the same way. There is no transfer print to peel or crack, and no ink to fade in a warm room.
Yes. The openings are cut after the rim is bound and the edge stays enclosed, so the load is carried by the felt wall rather than by a raw cut edge. Two hands is the intended carry.
Yes. Send an illustration or a reference and we quote the die, the stitch path and the sampling time. Keep in mind that licensed characters require you to hold the rights — we produce to your brief.
±1–2 cm on dimensions and ±10% on the 285 g unit weight. Needled felt varies slightly by batch density, so these tolerances are stated up front rather than discovered at inspection.
Yes. The shell and the applique are chosen independently from the 56-shade felt range, or matched to a Pantone reference. A lab dip is approved in writing before bulk production.
500 pieces per colourway is the standard minimum. A smaller trial run can be discussed for a first order so you can test the shelf before committing to a full programme.
Vacuum or brush out dust and lint. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry fully — do not tumble dry, and do not iron directly over the applique.
We will return unit pricing, a die and stitch quote for your artwork, and a sampling timeline. Trade buyers receive a free sample before the first production run.
