FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is a drill brush?

Drillbrushes are cleaning attachments for your cordless drill. They can be used to clean any number of messes around the house.

How long does an electric drill last?

The best will last six hours minimum on a full charge, which should give you plenty of time to use is on a job. We have seen some that can last over eight hours

How do I know if my drill needs new brushes?

As a general rule, if either brush has worn to about a quarter inch long, it is time to replace it. If the carbon (a brush is essentially a carbon block with a metal spring tail) shows any signs of breakage, crumbling, or burning, the brush needs replacing.

How do you clean a drill brush?

They are easy to clean and disinfect as well. I filled a shallow dish with water, bleach, and dish soap, and turned the drill on. I then took them off the drill and gave them a good scrub with another brush I already had to make sure to get out any leftover residue

How do you put a brush on a drill?

Screw the nut all the way onto the bolt and then tighten it against the brush with a pair of pliers to make sure the brush doesn't come loose while you use it. Open up the chuck on your drill, stick the brush attachment on the drill, then tighten the chuck. And you're ready to go!
