“Nobody should enter another TD’s office without permission – there are files and documents on tables and desks, there would be laptops and computers and materials on walls.
It was time for Jussi to leave. He gave me a basket of food and a Nokia phone for emergencies. He told me that his cousin would pick me up at eight in the morning, “if he wakes up.” He paused, then added, “He has never not woken up. But, just in case he does not wake up, you can call me.” I laughed, hoping that this was just Finnish humor, and watched him disappear into the darkness. Snow was falling. I battened down the hatches and got into bed. On the other side of the riot-shield roof, the clouds grew thicker.
If you are fitting a baby capsule in, there is enough space, but the front seat will have to go forward, leaving the person in the passenger seat with not much legroom. You can fit though – it is doable, it’s just a positioning of the legs thing.
Monkey House (4) is the busiest of Kapana’s third-wave hipster coffee haunts and has a terrace perfectly positioned for the morning sun, but Coffee Craftex (5) – which has a small onsite roastery – serves the superior java. Sit outside and soak up the sun with your croissant.

But the make-or-break consideration for many is price. Wine collecting is an expensive hobby, and reliable and attractive in-home bottle storage is no different. "Even if the client is fabulously wealthy," says Cash, "they usually inquire about cost up front."
An environmental group says it has assembled new evidence that methane emissions in the state are climbing amid a surge in oil and natural gas production in the Permian Basin. The Environmental Defense Fund on Thursday released an analysis showing that the energy industry in New Mexico is releasing more of the potent heat-trapping gas linked to global warming than previously thought. The group finds that statewide methane emissions are five times higher than what is reported to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Defense Fund scientist David Lyon says the analysis incorporates methane-sensor measurements at about 90 locations. New Mexico is in the early stages of developing new rules to reduce the waste of natural gas that consists primarily of methane at the direction of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.
“Fruits and nuts!” May says as she trims wayward threads during install. When the columns turn, strips of strawberries, avocadoes, grapes and cherries appear, an homage to the state’s agricultural output. On the columns’ versos, pieces of tourist T-shirts sourced from Chinatown and the Mission become vertical stripes. These were difficult to work with, May says: too stretchy.

“Most families have increased the speed of their lives and the number of their activities gradually – even unconsciously – over time,” the authors write. “And, looking around, there always seems to be another family that does everything you do, and more, managing to squeeze in skiing, or Space Camp, or French horn lessons on top of everything else. How do they do it? They do it by never asking ‘Why?’ Why do our kids need to be busy all of the time?… Why do we feel we must offer everything?… What happens when we stop, when we have free time?”
Reminiscing about his own experiences, Lurie continues, "People often mean well, but end up causing damage. I remember as a child standing in a line to get a free bag of potatoes when someone came up to me and gave me a used, dirty toy. I felt humiliated and terrible. That person thought he was doing a big mitzvah, but I ended up crying. The dignity of the poor person is more important than anything you give him.”
When I was a child, my mother would sit down with us by our homemade Jesse tree and read from the Scriptures, beginning with creation and moving up through salvation history to the birth of Jesus. My siblings and I would take turns hanging the felt ornament that went with the reading for the day on the family Jesse tree. It was a beautiful, meaningful way for us to see how the Old Testament anticipates the coming of Christ.
