But my biggest purchase of the month was an “exersaucer.” An exersaucer is basically a little activity station that we can plop him in and he can occupy himself with a zillion doodads and gizmos. I put him in one at my friend’s house and he legitimately was almost hyperventilating from happiness — I felt I couldn’t deny him one. Most are full-on hideous and take up a ton of space, but I found one that can fold up (almost none of the ones out there can fold) and is not so offensive if we keep it out. It may not be as “fun” as some of the others on the market that sing and bounce, but, truly, he has no idea and is happy as a clam noodling about in this.

You cannot handle it. We made this choice many years ago to say, there’s a certain percentage of steel watches that Patek Philippe will do. You have to understand that … the factory that we have is not done to build only steel watches … Patek Philippe has always been always dealing with every kind of material: platinum, white gold, rose gold, yellow gold. Steel watches also, but it has to stay as a limited amount. So, how can I deal with it? I can’t. Sadly, I can’t, so I really feel sorry when I hear that, yes, there is a four years, eight years waiting list. But that’s also part of the beauty of Patek.

Rory Lucey’s Jonesy is the oh so adorable depiction of Nostromo ship’s cat Jones as he lives his life onboard. The events of Alien are retold through the eyes of Jonesy as he goes from chasing space rats to hiding from the biggest, meanest rat of them all. Like Alien Next Door, Jonesy is a darkly humorous look at the Alien franchise, and a definite must read if you love one brave orange space cat.

In Southern decor, the idea is often to “go big or go home,” and blogger Jessica at House Full of Summer really went big — and gold and glittery. Covered top to bottom in gold and white, the towering tree was infused with glitz and glamour, along with a few Southern touches, such as sprays of magnolia leaves. The final product is a giant golden glitter bomb of Christmas festivity.

Campbell’s first Mopar was a 1976 Dodge van he and his buddies bought for $400 to take on spring break. It was rusted out and had a tired 318, but the five drove it from Penn State to Florida for spring break and slept in it for a week. It was blue — mostly — and they painted the Penn State logo on the side and got cheers when they rolled into every spring break town in Florida.

Meet Kumbali and Kago, the unlikely duo who call the Metro Richmond Zoo home (along with over 2,000 other animals!) and who win over the hearts of every visitor. What makes the pair so unique? Kumbali is a cheetah cub and Kago is, well, a puppy. Both rescued by the zoo in 2015, they’ve been best friends ever since and are well worth the trip to the Virginia park. For maintaining your toenails there are electric pedicure machines. There are some jobs that nail clippers just aren’t equipped for. Lots of things including age, injuries, common nail fungus, and certain health conditions can make our toenails thicken and become difficult to work with, often sending us to the nail salon or a podiatrist to have our toenails cut.

I distinctly remember the first time I had sushi: September 11, 1998. I was a college freshman, newly arrived on campus after a three-night hiking trip that the university had organized as an orientation activity. Since the dining halls weren’t open yet, the trip leader walked us into town, to a restaurant called Ichiban. When we got there, I ordered last: a California roll, like everyone else. I was nervous about eating it, but I was hungry, having spent half a week subsisting on handfuls of gorp. The roll was great. Over the next year, I went to Ichiban whenever I had the chance. Later, I switched to Sakura Express, a nearby competitor. It had a salad bar that came free with your meal, which turned me into a fan of daikon radishes.
