Queen Camilla showed off her trademark royal elegance at the Maundy Thursday service at Worcester Cathedral on Thursday.
The royal’s outfit was in keeping with her signature style: classic silhouettes mixed with formal touches, mostly in versatile neutrals that looked elegant and sophisticated.
Queen Camilla made history when she attended the service on behalf of her husband King Charles and presented the Maundy Thursday money to community leaders. It was the first time a princess had carried out this duty on behalf of a monarch.
For the special occasion, the Queen chose a beige collared coat dress from one of her most popular fashion brands, Fiona Clare.
She accessorized the coat with leather gloves, beige suede boots from Russell & Bromley, a plush hat from Lock & Co. Hatters, the world’s oldest hat shop, and a Cartier sapphire and diamond flower brooch (originally owned by Queen Elizabeth II) in honor of her late mother-in-law.
During her walk, she held a stunning bouquet of flowers in her hands, but in addition to this, she was also photographed with an elegant Gabrielle BB handbag by Moynat.
It’s not the first time the brown lizard skin accessory has appeared on Queen Camilla’s outfits – a black version is currently on sale for £3,620 on luxury online fashion retailer 24S.
In fact, in 2019, she wore the piece with a black skirt suit at a Buckingham Palace reception honoring London’s taxi drivers.
Founded in 1849, Moynat is today a brand that stands for luxury and craftsmanship. Renowned Parisian trunk makers Octavia and François Coulembier founded the Moynat workshop on rue Capron. Its aesthetic is rooted in the free-spirited Parisian Belle Époque.
The Parisian brand appears to be the Queen’s favourite fashion brand, as her extensive bag collection includes another Moynat model – the sleek black Gabrielle clutch.
