Custom Foldable and Reusable Cartoon Baby square Foldable Laundry Bag Large Capacity Felt Laundry Bag for Children

After months of quarantine, I was desperate to find cute storage containers to help me deal with the chaos in my apartment. It was so messy. Everywhere. It was like my inner world was mirroring the outside world — I was starting to hate what was in front of me. With a budget that didn’t allow for a full interior renovation, I found Open Spaces, a direct-to-consumer brand selling affordable, modern home organization products. Think pastel-colored nesting trays, Pinterest-worthy wire baskets, and tiered entryway shelves that feel like a mix of IKEA and West Elm. One item (actually two) caught my eye: these adorable felt storage containers. Check them out below.
I was drawn to its soft, rounded lines and simple aesthetic. The contrast of the light wooden countertops with the pale grey felt (made from recycled plastic bottle fibres) also captures the essence of Scandinavian style: not too intrusive, not too simple. Perhaps most importantly, I instinctively didn’t want to hide them in a cupboard.
Judging by the perfect five-star reviews, many reviewers feel the same way. “They look great, are sturdy, and stackable. Highly recommend. We use them as a playroom,” wrote one parent. “They’re great for storing scarves and purses,” said another reviewer. Another work-from-home employee said the bins are “a real upgrade to my home office.” My favorite review: “The texture and color complement the soft tones of our room.” Seriously delicious.
The moral support from strangers strengthened my resolve. I eagerly awaited the arrival of the storage box and am already planning what to put in it. They arrived quickly and the packaging was simple and easy to unpack and dispose of. My first thought when I saw them was, “Wow, these storage boxes are so well made.” Then I touched the felt. So soft! I immediately placed the storage box in the hallway and filled it with some random things I planned to “sort out later.” I now keep both of these boxes in my living room (which is also my bedroom, by the way) to store clothes. I quickly realized that they can be placed anywhere and they will look appropriate.
If you’re wondering how much stuff you can fit in this, it’s proportionally about the same size as a large duffel bag, meaning you’ll have plenty of room for sports gear, kids’ toys, transitional clothes that are taking up precious closet space, or bulky electronics. Speaking of tech, if you want to cast a disappearing spell on the miles of wires snaking through your router or laptop charger, these cute storage boxes have small holes on the sides that you can thread the wires through. Using a small hole instead of a fabric handle is also a genius move for low-maintenance use, since you won’t have to worry about it accidentally ripping. (I’ve been there, done that.)
The Open Spaces Felt Trash Can is definitely worth the money, considering the size and quality of the product. The large set costs $92, or $74 without the wood cover. That’s about the same price as buying four medium-sized plastic trash cans from any home improvement store, except the Open Spaces trash cans are more durable in the long run. And because they’re more versatile and durable, you’ll need fewer trash cans and replace them less often over time.
With many of us still working from home and spending most of our free time indoors, these containers are a great solution for small spaces (and people) where work gets done intensively. A clean home = a clean mind. Now, start a petition to invite me to the next season of The Home Edit?
