Now is the time to stock up on cleaning products you know you’ll use. Some of the offerings from Chemical Guys and Meguiar’s will last me for years. I tried the brush from the Chemical Guys CLD10516 Sticky Citrus Gel Cleaner and Wheel Brush Set, $18.38. It’s great for cleaning wheels, but it’s also great for cleaning carpet and upholstery. This is just the beginning of the Prime Day sales.
If you’re not familiar with the brand, the Chemical Guys Mr. Pink and Honeydew Snow Car Wash Soap Set ($16.78) is probably the best way to get to know it better. Once clean, you can protect it with the Meguiar’s Shine Kit and Hybrid Ceramic Wax. I like the Hybrid Ceramic Wax because it can be applied to unpainted surfaces (like the black plastic on the bottom of my SUV) without leaving a white residue. If you want to take it a step further, the Meguiar’s MT300 Variable Shaft Polisher can get your car looking like new in no time, without leaving a stain.
